The TEXONIC RX800 is a whole-house audio system designed for 4-zone multi-room music with Wi-Fi streaming and centralized audio distribution.

The system includes two built-in Wi-Fi audio streamers, six input sources and high-performance Class-D amplification. It can be controlled by the TEXZONE app and can expand up to 12 zones when additional RX800 units are linked.

Product Overview

The RX800 is designed for homes where music is needed in several rooms or areas. It gives you 4-zone audio control from one rackmount amplifier, making it suitable for living rooms, kitchens, dining rooms, bedrooms, basements and other home audio areas.

Two built-in Wi-Fi streamers allow convenient music playback from supported streaming services and smart devices. The product page lists Spotify, TuneIn, Deezer and more, with Android and iOS AirPlay compatibility.

Six input sources allow different connected sources to be distributed through the system. The RX800 also supports USB playback, local network control and expansion up to 12 zones using additional linked RX800 units.

Control, Network & Expansion

The RX800 is designed for app, keypad, IR and automation control. It can connect to a local router using Ethernet for app control and network operation.

App & Network Control Connect the RX800 to the local network using the RJ45 Ethernet connection. Smart devices should be on the same local network for app control.
Keypad Option The product page lists an optional keypad kit with 4 keypads, 1 keypad hub and 1 infrared remote control.
IR Routing The manual describes IR routing through the keypad and amplifier system so selected source devices can be controlled from the correct zone.
Expansion The RX800 can distribute 6 sources to up to 12 zones when additional units are linked and configured using Master / Slave settings.
Pre-Amp Outputs Zone 1 to Zone 4 include pre-amp outputs for connecting additional amplification or powered subwoofers.
Automation Control RS-232 support allows compatible third-party automation systems to control supported RX800 functions.
Important: Set the rear Ethernet / RS-232 switch to the correct position for the control method being used. Do not connect or configure network and control wiring without checking the manual first.
Connection Reminder: The product page lists the keypad kit as an option. Do not assume keypads are included unless the keypad kit option is selected.
